Semperfli is a British Brand that has really made a name for themselves in ‘waxed threads’, and today boasts the largest range of colours in waxed thread found in fly-tying.  We love colour, and are always excited to use new colours when it comes to threads.  All brands present unique opportunities to flytiers, and for those that like waxed threads, this really expands the colour choice, in addition to the classic shades offered by UNI.  The 8/0 is a lovely thread to tie with, has just the ‘right’ amount of wax, gives good grip and control with a variety of materials, and we’re really impressed with some of the colours in this range.  What’s unusual but quite nice – is that these spools come in 110mtr – compared the normal 100m.  We’ve introduced a small number of shades by request of our customers, and if this proves popular we’ll happily add more colours to the lineup.  If you have any specific colours you’d like to see, just message us!
