Made in Japan by Hayabusa, arguably one of the best hook manufacturers in the world, the FASNA F-520 is the ‘little brother’ of the mightly F-500 Blob.  Made in a size 16/18 size, this model features a slightly lighter medium wire, but still, a rock solid strong hook.  But more suited for smaller weighted nymphs and bugs.  Although they are size 16/18, in my opinion they are quite large for a 16/18 – and the 16, is almost like a wide gape 14, and the 18 being more like a size 16 wide gape.  So slightly larger for their stated size.
This hook could also be used for CDC Emergers, if you’re looking for a really solid dry hook, providing you used a good amount of CDC.
