Squirrel Fanclub, is a carefully selected blend of North American & European Pine Squirrels. Various sections from pelts, including tails are used, treated, shaved and blended to form a beautifully soft hare’s ear style dubbing. Pine Squirrel is one of the best furs for hair-dub patterns and has great colouration. The idea behind this blend, originated from Argentinean Hare, and by using different breeds, there is a nice mix of fibres size, to create a soft, yet spikey dub, which is both easy to tie with and also to rake out for that buggy look.
Each pack contains 1g per box – enough to tie hundreds of flies. All Artisan Dubbings are handmade in small batches by Ian Christie
